It is Fleet Week in NYC, and i am sorry to say there are no Air races like the ones on the west coast.
They do have a lot planned check it out here http://www.cnrma.navy.mil/fleetweek/

Fleet Week is one of many things I miss about leaving NYC. It was always a blast!
